FOUNDER & CEO
Sarah created Melanin Squad as a safe space for women of color to foster deep connections with one another through quarterly curated events. She believes it's important that every women of color feels free to express themselves without fear of judgement, stereotypes, and microaggressions.
For a long time, Sarah felt like she had to always make adjustments to fit into certain circles, so there was an urgent need to create a space where herself and every women of color can be their true authentic self. She hopes every women that steps into a Melanin Squad event feels welcomed and a sense of community.
